Ambassador Grbić with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea

At the reception for the diplomatic corps on the eve of the Seoul Conference on Global Cooperation for Green Development, held in Seoul, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Korea, Nemanja Grbić, had the opportunity to meet with the new Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Kim Min-seok.

In a courtesy conversation, the Ambassador conveyed the congratulations of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Đuro Macut, on the appointment, and expressed the expectation that during the mandate of the new Korean administration, the friendly relations between the two countries will continue to develop in a wide range of areas. He particularly emphasized that economic cooperation constitutes an important segment of overall bilateral relations and reminded his interlocutor that the two countries officially launched negotiations on an Economic Partnership Agreement last year, and in 2023 signed the Agreement on the Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments. It was also expressed that, during the mandate of the current Korean administration, the dynamics of exchanges of visits at high and top levels will be further intensified.
