Farewell Meeting of Ambassador Grbić with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Korea, H.E. Nemanja Grbić, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea for Political Affairs, Ms. Cecilia Jeong, as part of his farewell activities marking the conclusion of his mandate in Seoul.

During the meeting, both sides noted that bilateral relations between Serbia and Korea have been significantly enhanced in recent years, not only in the political and economic spheres but also in numerous other fields. Particular emphasis was placed on the progress achieved in the negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), the conclusion of the Agreement on the Mutual Protection and Promotion of Investments, the growth of economic cooperation and trade, as well as Korea’s forthcoming participation in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on regional and international issues, including the question of Kosovo and Metohija, while reaffirming the importance of continuing the regular political dialogue and cooperation between the two countries, particularly on matters of the highest national interest.​​​​​​​​​
