Good and friendly relations between Serbia and the Republic of Korea

Minister Selaković emphasized that the friendly relations between the two countries are characterized by an intensive dialogue and strong economic cooperation, noting that Serbia remains committed to further enhancing bilateral ties.

The Serbian Foreign Minister highlighted that cooperation between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs serves as a bridge for strengthening overall collaboration, underscoring the importance of regular bilateral political consultations at the level of assistant ministers.

Selaković conveyed Serbia’s interest in further advancing economic cooperation and attracting new Korean investors to Serbia.

He also pointed out that there is significant potential for increasing the export of food and agricultural products from Serbia to Korea.

On this occasion, Selaković expressed his gratitude to the Government of Korea for its humanitarian assistance to Serbia in combating the pandemic, as well as for facilitating the procurement of critically needed medical equipment.

At the end of the meeting, Selaković thanked Ambassador Choe for his efforts during his tenure in Serbia, stating that his contribution to strengthening the relations between the two countries will be remembered.
