Meeting between Ambassador Grbić and the President of the CHEY Institute for Advanced Studies | Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Republic of Korea

At the initiative of the Embassy, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Korea, Nemanja Grbić, held a meeting with Kim Yu-sok, President of the CHEY Institute for Advanced Studies, one of South Korea’s leading strategic think tanks, affiliated with the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies and the SK Group (the second-largest Korean conglomerate).

During the meeting, possibilities for establishing cooperation with related institutes and analytical centers in the Republic of Serbia were discussed, primarily in the fields of foreign policy, security, geopolitics, and economic transformation, as well as the potential for joint roundtables, research projects, and exchanges of experts.

Special consideration was given to the possibility that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia or another high-ranking state official, during one of their future visits to the Republic of Korea, could deliver a lecture or participate in a discussion at the Institute, with the aim of enhancing Serbia’s visibility in Korean academic and strategic circles.
