A New Book in the Embassy's Publication Series — "Serbia, Ask"

03. Apr 2026.
A project to publish the book "Serbia, Ask" (세르비아, 물어보다) has been realized in Seoul, created in cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Kyung Hee University. The book was written by 25 Korean students and, through 46 texts, presents Serbia in a modern, accessible, and comprehensive manner — from history and culture to economy and innovation.

The project was initiated by the Embassy, and the book was published with the approval of Ambassador Nemanja Grbić, who also authored the foreword in both Serbian and Korean. Of particular value is the fact that the content is the result of the students' own research, offering an authentic perspective of the young Korean generation on Serbia.

The cooperation with Kyung Hee University was initiated through an earlier working visit by the Ambassador and discussions with the University's leadership, which laid the groundwork for the development of academic and cultural projects. The book is already available in both print and electronic formats, including on the Yes24 platform, and will soon be deposited in the National Library of Korea.

This project represents a significant step forward in strengthening Serbia's cultural diplomacy in Korea and opens a new channel for promoting the country among the educated Korean public, while further deepening cooperation with one of Korea's leading universities.
