Strengthening Trade Cooperation Between Serbia and Korea

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Korea, Nemanja Grbić, met with the Chairwoman of the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), Yoon Jong-mi, to discuss opportunities for strengthening trade cooperation and introducing Serbian products to the Korean market.
The conversation focused on Serbia's upcoming participation in the Korea Import Fair, as well as the potential for exporting agricultural and food products, with a particular emphasis on frozen fruit and organic corn. Both sides agreed that there is significant room to increase the visibility of Serbian producers in the Korean market.
The Ambassador updated his counterpart on the progress of negotiations regarding the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), emphasizing that its successful conclusion will contribute to the continued growth of bilateral trade and forge stronger economic ties between the two countries.
